Hi Everyone...

A few weeks ago I have received a 'try & review' Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel that makes me in love. For anyone that has been dedicated to thick moisturizer for over their life, just try this one, cause I think that would change your beauty routine forever hahaha. By the way, Neutrogena is a brand of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Consumer Companies, and began manufacturing and distributing by the 1940's.

It comes with a box and beautiful 1.7 oz blue jar. There's already an inner lid, so the product isn't messy. On the back of the box are the list of ingredients and other essential information about the product. But, it does not come with a spatula. If you wanna take the product, use your clean hand or bring your own spatula. However, I still like the concept (packaging), it looks simple but luxurious.

 

The formula contains hyaluronic acid that can make skin more hydrating, and also includes glycerin and dimethicone. Here's the full ingredients;

water, dimethicone, glycerin, dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, phenoxyethanol, cetearyl olivate, polyacrylamide, sorbitan olivate, c13-14 isoparaffin, dimethicone crosspolymer, trehalose, dimethiconol, chlorphenesin, yeast extract, carbomer, sodium hyaluronate, ethylhexylglycerin, fragrance, laureth-7, c12-14 pareth-12, sodium hydroxide, CI 42090. (moisturizer, antibacterial, perfuming)

This product's claimed with rich gel relieves intense dryness to help restore skin's natural barrier against moisture loss. Also, it’s oil-free, non-comedogenic, and can be worn alone or under makeup.

 

As it is stated in the product's name, the texture is gel, very runny and light, it spread and apply easily, only need a second to absorbing into your skin. I also love the fancy smells. Very refreshing and subtle, so nice!

Initially, I used it twice a day (AM and PM for a week), but, now, I only use for my morning routine. I'd slather it moist my skin before using sunscreen.

Surprisingly, I like this product since I started using it. Lemme tell you, First, I can use this product for day and night because the texture really fast to absorb into my skin (also it feels pretty weightless). Second, I noticed that my skin gets the perfectly healthy, glowing, hydration and moisture, as well. It doesn't sticky nor greasy so you can layer this product as much as you wish. I think that is understandable, because the texture is a gel, right? hahaha.  Third, the smells really good and refreshing, I really like it...a lot. Forth, this is important, I’ve experienced no irritation or breakouts from it.

 

Sadly, this is not travel friendly for me. When I visited Klayar beach, this product on my container, so I think it would be efficient, because I don't need to took many items. But, the product kinda “messy”, I think it's because the texture really runny. Luckily, there inner lid safe the product, so it doesn't really come out (I hope you understand-_-).

Overall, this is a really lightweight moisturizer that you can use whenever you want and the formula is made up of so many goodies for hydrated and healthy skin. This product also great for all skin types (especially combination-oily) as it doesn’t make the skin greasy and you can layer the product as much as you want. So, I’d love to recommend you to put this product on your routine!

- The texture very light that absorb easily and it smells so good

- Making my skin moist, healthy and glowing

 

Cons:

- Not travel friendly
